2025년 10월 1일부터 호주 정부는 첫 주택 보증 제도(Home Guarantee Scheme) 를 전면 확대합니다.
기존의 소득 제한과 보증 가능한 가구 수 제한(place limits) 을 모두 폐지하고,
시드니·브리즈번·멜버른 등 주요 도시의 주택 가격 상한(property price caps) 을 크게 상향했습니다.
이제 더 많은 호주인들이 최소 5% 예치금만으로 내 집 마련이 가능해집니다.
From 1 October 2025, the Australian Government will introduce a major expansion to the Home Guarantee Scheme (HGS).
The program will remove both income caps and place limits, while raising property price caps across major cities such as Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne.
This means more Australians can buy their first home with as little as a 5% deposit — without paying Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI).
